Talyn Barrett of Analise approached me a couple days ago with a picture and a description. “Please make this messy braid!”
I took the little drawing she handed me, took a look, and … voila! One messy braid, a little more heavily decorated than the original sketch. I simply had to name it after her, of course.
So… I present to you: Talyn. A messy, over the shoulder braid with tangled, sloppy bangs. As always, each color pack is only 200L, and the style is GEN3 compatible for amazing customization possibilities.

The inaugural SL Footwear Expo is specifically designed to showcase the many amazing shoe designers around the grid and to raise money for the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
The event will run from July 12th through July 27th, 2008. 65 Shoe designers from across the grid will be showcasing their creations (some with new items introduced at the expo!) and helping to sponsor and support the benefit. In addition there will be a fashion show, musical entertainment, a photography contest and exhibit, a huge raffle, and a massive blow-out party at the end of the Expo.

It took me a while. More than a little while. If anyone has ever said to you “prim hair, it’s easy!” … They were lying. I swear it.
I have been attempting to make hair for six months now. It has always turned out as this hideously ugly clump of torii on my head that… didn’t really look like hair.
Until now.
Three months ago, I renewed my efforts to ‘try my hand at hair’ and finally found a style I could work with about a month ago. And here are the results of all that experimentation and countless hours screaming over asset server lag, missing inventory, and rubberbanding prims while I was trying to build.
Introducing: Sanctum Hair.
A brand-new brand name from the same person who brought you Haven Designs. Don’t worry. Haven Designs is still alive and well. But… I figure if I’m doing something this drastically different, I may as well name it something different too.
Sanctum Hair.
The embodiment of fantasy. Decorated, luscious, flowing hairstyles for both men and women. All of them scripted, so at the touch of a button, your hair style will match your accessories and outfit for the occasion.

For you, for me, for everyone… a little bit of simplicity. Everyone knows how sexy it is when a girl wears a shirt open down the front and not much else, and this little scrap of fabric brings that together with the standard flexi-skirt of a camisk for a fun flair that will have people talking. This camisk comes in 5 colors and is located on the new-release wall near the lucky chairs. Priced at only 250L$ apiece, they are a steal!
Also, some bad news. Everyone’s current limited-edition favorites, the Cherry Camisk and the pink Chalwar, have been removed from our lucky chair, never to be seen again. Replacing these two items was not so easy, but I found the right things for the chair. Selection one: A pretty little gemmed headpeice in silver, and… a sheer, pink version of the Claire Camisk! These are limited edition, so get them before they’re gone!
Something new is coming. I can’t show you pictures… yet. But I promise, it’ll be good when it arrives.
This new release has been lovingly crafted by hand using sculpted gemstones and delicate primwork that rivals any other product currently on our shelves. It utilizes approximately 1000 delicate prim spread across 17 pieces to bring you a silk like no other.
If you are skinnier than this silk is sized out of the box, please contact Delora Starbrook for a custom fitting. Your body shape will be required for this fitting, so if your shape is no-transfer you will not be able to access this service. Fittings for this particular silk will be done free of charge if you are SMALLER than the silk can accomodate. Standard fitting services beyond this are unavailable.

What is “GEN3?”
GEN3 is a state of the art, low-lag scripting system that allows for both texture change and colorchange, created by Madlax Stygian.
How the heck do I use this “GEN3″ silk set?
GEN3 products from Haven Designs offer a selection of 6 different metal types and the whole host of colors (up to 125,000 of them) available from Stygian’s HUD system.
To do texture-changing: Touch the silk and select the metal color you’d like from the dropdown menu. Make sure you are wearing all the peices you would like to change, as this will change all of the peices on your body at the same time.
To do color-changing: You will need the special HUD (sold seperately) that allows you to change colors of this silk. The default color for all of Haven Designs’ GEN3 product is white. To acquire additional colors you will need to purchase the HUD, a Stygian Silks and Weaponry product.

Congratulations to Laurelin Nuvolari, the winner of Avatar of the Month for June! Many of the entries I got this month were fantastic, but Laurelin’s picture stood out for a great use of color and lighting while sticking to the theme, which was “Fun in the Sun.”
Laurelin was gifted a 5000L gift card to Haven Designs to spend as she will, and her picture got a place of honor on the wall!
